Positive: Nice appartment with everything you need when spending a few days in Cologne. We mainly used the appartment for sleeping and shower and for this it was perfect. The location was nice and with the U-bahn close by it was easy to visit the different parts of Cologne.
Negative: It was a bummer the swimming pool was closed for maintenance.
Summary: Nice appartment when visiting Cologne.

Positive: Spacious apartment. Tastefully decorated. Well equipped & amenities provided. Good location. Short walk to underground station & then couple of stops to central station. Supportive & friendly host. Attentive to the details & communication with guests.
Negative: Window blinds may need changing, with addition of blackout in bedroom to avoid morning sun. Nothing more really...

Positive: Good equipped kitchen, the place had a nice atmosphere, there is nice view to the greener parts of the city. The bed was comfortable.
Negative: I was on a work trip and the invoice/city tax refund was delayed more than 2 months. The host lost the forms I gave him and now wants me to fill out new ones, apparently he didn't do anything with this otherwise simple routine process until I wrote a review. He always answered that he is on it, but didn't actually do anything. He also said that if I want the money back, what he shouldn't have took from my card in the first place, than I have to give him a better review. You have to be careful when showering, the water floods the bathroom easily because of the design of the shower. The windows could be cleaner (I cleaned part of it myself, to have a better view), otherwise the place is clean(ish).

Positive: Spacious, new, clean, safe. Good value given proximity to city centre during euros. Good communication with owner.
Negative: Shower didn’t drain so flooded bathroom if shower on too full. Very hot - a/c would have been good. Blinds insufficient to keep hot morning sun off of our faces.
Summary: Would recommend if the aforementioned teething problems are resolved.
